The global partnership combines ALL Accor status benefits with Membership Rewards transfers, extending the role of loyalty programmes across the travel journey.
Accor and American Express have announced a global partnership intended to connect eligible cardholders with ALL Accor, Accor’s booking platform and loyalty programme. The arrangement is due to roll out in 2026 across 12 countries and territories, including France, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Japan. It combines automatic access to an ALL Accor status with the ability to transfer Membership Rewards points into the hotel programme, linking payment benefits with hotel recognition and rewards.
The partnership places hotel loyalty at several stages of a trip, from booking to the stay itself. ALL Accor covers more than 45 Accor brands worldwide, including Raffles, Fairmont and Sofitel, while its programme also includes rewards, services, experiences and partnerships beyond hotel accommodation. The release presents the agreement as a way to offer eligible American Express cardholders a more connected travel experience across the Accor network.
In France, eligible American Express cardholders can already transfer Membership Rewards points to ALL Accor, while automatic access to an ALL Accor status is described as becoming available soon. Holders of the consumer Platinum, Business Platinum and Corporate Platinum American Express cards will be eligible for ALL Accor Gold status, according to the announcement. The stated benefits include premium Wi-Fi, personalised touches, late checkout, room upgrades subject to availability and additional ALL Accor Rewards points.
The points-transfer option adds another route for using American Express rewards within Accor’s ecosystem. In France, the published conversion rate is three Membership Rewards points for one ALL Accor Reward point, and transferred points can be used across the hotel group’s brands as well as for experiences, dining offers and services from more than 110 programme partners, subject to ALL Accor’s terms. The arrangement therefore joins two established loyalty systems rather than presenting a standalone travel product.
For Accor, the announcement connects its hotel portfolio and ALL Accor membership proposition with the reach of a global payments brand. Mehdi Hemici, Accor’s chief loyalty and e-commerce officer, said the partnership would connect the group’s hotel ecosystem with American Express cardholders and create more ways for customers to interact with ALL Accor. Its practical effect will depend on the rollout across the named markets, but the structure gives eligible travellers a single partnership through which status and points can operate across both programmes.
