Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino has added a 2027 performance of its Elvis Presley tribute, underscoring the enduring pull of the venue’s historical entertainment identity.
Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino has announced a third performance of 1969 LIVE! – The King Returns after two consecutive sold-out shows. The concert is scheduled for Saturday, July 31, 2027, at the International Theater in Las Vegas, the venue identified in the release with Elvis Presley’s historic performances. Tickets are reported to be on sale, extending a production built around the anniversary of Presley’s July 31, 1969 opening night at the former International Hotel.
The announcement places the concert within Westgate’s effort to maintain the connection between its current resort operation and the property’s entertainment history. The release says the former International Hotel was the site of Presley’s Las Vegas residency and that he performed 636 sold-out shows there. The International Theater remains part of the resort’s entertainment offering, alongside other live shows and performers listed on Westgate’s official website.
1969 LIVE! – The King Returns is presented as a recreation of the concert associated with Presley’s Las Vegas opening. According to the release, internationally acclaimed Elvis Tribute Artist Travis Powell performs the show, which includes songs such as “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Suspicious Minds,” “All Shook Up,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Heartbreak Hotel” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Ticketmaster lists the 2027 event for 7:00 p.m. on July 31, with the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino as the venue.
The scheduling also gives Westgate a second Elvis-themed event in its entertainment calendar. The release reports that Powell is due to return for 1970 LIVE! – That’s The Way It Was on October 24, 2026, a separate production inspired by the concert documentary That’s The Way It Is. Westgate’s official event page similarly lists the 1970 show for October 24, 2026, while the 1969 production focuses on the earlier moment that began Presley’s Las Vegas residency.
The third booking indicates that the resort is continuing to use its historical stage as a central part of its live-entertainment proposition, while keeping the announcement narrowly tied to confirmed performances and dates. For Westgate, the July 31, 2027 show brings the Elvis tribute back to the same setting highlighted throughout the release. Its significance rests less on a new format than on the continued programming of a carefully defined piece of Las Vegas entertainment history.
