With Blueberry Lemonade and a new Half & Half variety pack, Surfside is leaning into a spring rollout that reflects how ready-to-drink spirits are evolving from novelty to year-round category staple.
Surfside, owned by Stateside Brands, is expanding its spirits-based iced tea and lemonade RTD lineup with four new flavors, including a Blueberry Lemonade option and a Half & Half Variety Pack. The launch arrives as the company positions itself for the warmer months, when canned cocktails tend to see their biggest seasonal lift, but it also points to a longer-term shift: RTDs are no longer a side category in spirits—they are increasingly central to it.
The company says 2025 was its strongest year yet, reporting sales volume of 11.1 million cases sold and describing itself as the top volume growth spirits brand in the United States. Surfside, which launched in 2022, has quickly moved from a regional Philadelphia product to a national brand, reflecting how quickly consumer habits have changed around convenience drinking and lower-effort alcohol options.
At the product level, the new Blueberry Lemonade + Vodka blends lemonade with blueberry flavor and will be sold in single-flavor four-packs, with plans to include it in a Surfside Lemonade Variety 8-pack later this spring. The Half & Half Variety 8-Pack expands on the company’s existing iced tea and lemonade combination, adding Raspberry, Mango, and Blackberry alongside the original Surfside Iced Tea Half & Half + Vodka.
The details of Surfside’s formula—vodka with real tea and real lemonade, 100 calories, 2 grams of sugar, and no carbonation—mirror the category’s broader push toward “better-for-you” positioning without fully crossing into wellness branding. It is a familiar strategy in modern beverage marketing: keep the product casual and approachable, but still offer enough nutritional shorthand to make it feel lighter than traditional cocktails.
What makes the launch notable is less the flavor innovation itself and more what it suggests about the company’s ambitions. Surfside is also signaling lifestyle alignment, describing its Half & Half product as associated with settings like golf courses, beaches, and sporting events—places where convenience and portability matter as much as taste.
Pricing is set at $10.99 for a four-pack and $19.99 for an eight-can variety pack, placing Surfside firmly in the premium end of mainstream RTDs. The new flavors will also be available for tasting at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival in Miami from February 20 to 22, continuing the brand’s effort to stay visible as the crowded RTD market fights for attention.
