Please select your internet provider from the options below:
Step 1: Find your existing black color Router/Gateway provided by Comcast Xfinity
It looks something similar to image below: it has a power adapter and existing cables connected. During the entire process, DO NOT remove any cables from your Comcast Xfinity device.
Step 2: Connect newly purchased White Color Netty Device to existing Xfinity Gateway/Router
Step A) From your Netty Box - find "Yellow Color Cable" - that is 'Ethernet Cable'.
Step B) Check your newly purchased Netty device: on the back side of it, you will find a "Blue Color port".
Step C) Connect one end of the 'Yellow Color Cable' to the 'Blue Color Port' of the Netty Device.

Download the app.
Log in using id and password provided to you.
Now connect all the kids devices you want to monitor to the new wifi provided.
For this select Netty in kids devices wifi .
Now in App Create a new profile for each kid and select device for the same.
Once profiles are created for each kid, its essential to install the certificate in each of the kids device.
Follow the procedure given in link below.
Step 2: Connect the kids’ devices to the Netty Wi-Fi network
To monitor your kids’ devices, they will need to access the internet through the Netty router’s Wi-Fi network. You will remove (“forget”) the existing Wi-Fi network from your kids’ devices and add “Netty-xxxx” Wi-Fi network to those devices.
We have provided different steps for different devices. Typically, your kids will have an iPhone, iPad, Android Samsung phone, Android Tablet, Windows PC & Laptop, MacBook, or Chromebook. For other devices, you will need to consult their user manual to determine how to remove the existing Wi-Fi connection and add them to the Netty Wi-Fi network.
A: Go to “Settings” and open the Wi-Fi settings screen. Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on and connected to your home internet.
B: Click on the home Wi-Fi network the device is connected to (It has blue check mark next to it.) and select “Forget This Network”. This will prevent the device from connecting to the internet without going through the Netty Router.
C: Now select the “Netty-xxxx” network from the Wi-Fi setting screen and enter password Netty-1234
Repeat Steps A to C for all mobile phones & tablets used by your kids.
Before we connect this Windows device to Netty network, we have to identify if your kids Windows PC/Laptop is using a wired (LAN) connection or Wi-Fi connection.
A Log onto the Windows PC / Laptop and login using “admin” credentials.
B If you see a Wi-Fi icon on the bottom right corner of your PC (like ) then:
(1) Click on the Wi-Fi icon
(2) Right click on the existing network connection to show properties of the internet connection.
(3) Click on “Forget Network” so the computer will not, in the future, automatically connect to the internet through your existing router.
(4) You will now see a list of networks. Click on “Netty-xxxx”, then click the “Connect” button and enter the password, “Netty-1234.”
C If you don’t see a Wi-Fi icon you are probably connected to the internet via an ethernet cable plugged into your computer.
(1) Find the ethernet Cable () which is plugged in your Windows computer. The other end will typically be plugged into a wall jack or directly into your existing router. If it is plugged into a wall jack, then there is wiring in the wall that goes back to your existing router.
(2) You will need to unplug the corresponding ethernet cable from your existing router and plug it into any of the open yellow-colored LAN ports on the back of the Netty router.
Now, this Windows LAN device is connected to Netty and you can monitor your kids’ online activity. Repeat these steps A or B for all of your kids’ Windows computers on your network.
Step 3: Install the Netty App on your phone
The Netty Router App will allow you to monitor and control your kids’ activity on Netty Wi-Fi network at home.
A Go to the App Store and search for “Netty Router” in the App Store. Download the Netty App .
B Launch the app and login with the provided username and password.
Step 4: Create individual kids’ profiles on Netty App
Create individual kids’ profiles on Netty App
By creating profiles for each kid, you can separately monitor and control their internet access through the Netty Wi-Fi network. You will be able to view internet browsing history, set allowable websites, set internet access schedules (i.e., turn off at bedtime), pause internet access for meals or just to get your kids attention!
Follow the steps below:
A Once you are logged in, inside the app dashboard, click on Add Kid and you will go to new screen
B Enter the kids’ name, grade and choose the devices which this kid has access to.
Repeat A and B for each child. Each device is associated with a single profile, so if your kids share a device, you should put that device in the most restrictive profile—the one for the youngest child.
Once we have completed the profile creation, we will proceed to the last step of this entire installation process mentioned below.
This certificate is required in order to give Netty the ability to monitor and control your child’s activity on the internet. Without it installed a particular device, Netty will not be able to provide or monitor access for that device.
A Go to your kids’ device and open a browser: Chrome or Safari or Microsoft Edge
B Open the website www.netty.com/install and follow the process on every kids device which is connected to Netty network
